This portfolio of ten prints by leading Asian artists working in Asia, the United States, and Europe, reflects the sophistication and complexity of works produced by Asian artists today. The images created by these artists during their residencies at STPI are inspired by sources as diverse as personal memories, artistic traditions, as well as current events. Publication of the portfolio marks both the decade since Asian Society began as a program of contemporary art exhibitions and artist commissions, and the fiftieth anniversary of the Society’s founding.
