Artist Talk | Constellations: In Dialogue with Suzann Victor and Francis Maravillas
4PM – 5PM
Artist Talk
15 January 2025, Wednesday
4PM – 5PM
Join us for a talk with artist Suzann Victor, moderated by Dr Francis Maravillas.
They will discuss her latest body of work with STPI, which conjures the everyday phenomena of light and shadows through transparent/translucent materials like acrylic and mesh. The works transport us from the gallery space into the larger environment, inviting the viewer to playfully sharpen our senses to the transient occurrences that surround us daily.
Victor and Maravillas will also examine the artist’s practice since the 1980s, shedding light on an important voice of the Singapore contemporary art scene.
