As part of our Let’s Chat series, we featured Suzann Victor, a prolific Singaporean artist whose practice spans over 20 years, from her early practice in the late 1980s as an award-winning abstract painter in Singapore to being the first female Singaporean representative at the 49th Venice Biennale. Her installations have since graced international platforms, including 6th Havana Biennale, 2nd Asia-Pacific Triennial at Queensland Art Gallery, the 5th Seoul International Media Art Biennale.
Together with Jasdeep Sandhu, Gallery Director and Founder of Gajah Gallery, we delved into the artist’s rich practice, her experience at STPI, and personal reflections on art-making.
