Screening: Hockney – Joiner Photographs (1982)

Directed by Don Featherstone, the film focuses on Hockney’s iconic approach to perspective, one that was greatly informed by his explorations with the Cubist-inspired photo-collage. It reveals his radical approaches towards space and time and gives insight into his embracement of photographic technologies, cementing him as a provocative and relevant figure in a contemporary context.
